Your Cyber Space Face

Yes, that’s right, websites are your cyberspace face. Sure, you could have a MySpace page or a Facebook profile — but millions of people have ones that look just like yours.

It used to be that I equated web pages to business cards, but in just the last few years it’s really been changing. Today, it’s not just about the individual, it’s about the community. Whether you’re a blogger or a business owner, it’s important to remember that there is an audience out there whom you can interact with.

That’s why it’s more important than ever for you to have access and control over the content on your website, without having to know anything about web design yourself.

This is where my praise for WordPress comes in.

With the right designer, you can have a completely unique looking and functioning site with a back end that is user friendly and translates perfectly to the front end. Take this website for example. If I want to change the content on any of the posts or pages, I just log into the dashboard and type them in. Then, it’s automatically organized and integrated into the website’s design.

Alright, that’s about all for now, but you can bet there will be more in future posts.
